Watch IM John Bartholomeu's beginner series. His first video is undefended pieces in 2015, search it up. Very useful. There are many other videos as well, long and detailed.
Ideas for Lessons/Videos/Articles for me

hmmmm
On Chess.com, I really enjoyed Gotham's video series called "Don't let them castle" or something like that. Very good lesson on keeping the pressure on the opponent.
I also liked the "every gambit refuted" series (You don't have to watch everyone of them, just the ones you have trouble against.)
On youtube, St. Louis chess club has some great videos that make you feel like you're actually at a lesson. I particularly enjoy watching and listening to GM Yasser Seirawan speak about different aspects of chess. If you want to learn openings, the best place to get everything you can know is Hanging Pawns. Really good channel
I also know that @KeSetoKaiba is a really good writer on a different chess website, so maybe check out some of his stuff

youtube is a great way to learn
i would recommend GothamChess as he teaches openings/beginner principles/commentary on master games, as well as some other stuff that is for entertainment like "guess the elo"

Yeah, Hanging Pawns is the only channel I'm subscribed to atm lol

I highly suggest these:

was wondering why you bumped that after two weeks

GM Aman Hambleton has one on Youtube Building habits from 400 ELO, it's very informative and I think up there with IM Jihn Bartholomew's channel. Here is the link to GM Hambleton's channel:

This looks helpful, thanks!
Does anybody recommend any lessons/videos/articles for a beginner like me? My rating is 400, but I haven't played in a while so it may be outdated (but I wouldn't say my rating is any higher than 700)
I already know about the "guide" lessons so please don't say that, because I already know about them.
Anything on websites other than chess.com is also helpful, as long as it's free and I don't need an account to access it
Thank you!
