I'm an idiot :X

I do tactics trainer and daily puzzle when I get around to them.

I say I'm better at Online Chess, but my most recent win was because my opponent didn't want to continue the game, and I'm about to "beat" paul211 on time because he's been banned. I only hope my next victories are genuine ones .

I should use T.T. a lot more myself but I resent the clock on the thing. I can solve the most difficult positions given a little time but I sometimes end up losing points because I've taken too long. And it's not as if I ever play Live chess lol !
I'm a chess puzzle junkie - I do them on this site & GameKnot.com (they provide two each day, one easy & one hard). I think they teach you to really search for things you might not otherwise see

Players shouldn't resign for no reason. That's the second instance that I've come across of a (well-rated) player just abandoning a game without any explanation (?) - seems bad-mannered to me !

There is an unrated mode in Tactics Trainer, which I assume is untimed.

Thanks for that !   Only ever searched on the TT page to find the unrated/disable timer setting - never thought to go into settings itself.
