Today I would like to show you another chess tactic - discovered attack.

In this position white playing Nc4 discovers the rook and attack the opponent's king and queen at the same time.

Now let's look at more complicated position. To find the best move for white you have to note that the queens are on the same diagonal.

It's time for another chess tactic - perpetual check.

In this position white threatens to mate on b7. Black has only one move to defend Rxg2+. After Kxg2 black plays Qg4+ Kh1 and Qf3+ with perpetual check.
