In Need of New ideas

I have been think for a while, and have realized that we need some interesting and original things in the club. So far, we have high vote chess/match participation, and daily puzzles have been started, but otherwise, not much else.

Use this forum to add any of ur ideas of what the club should add or do more of (besides more vote chess)

I'll start with one: more live tournaments. Few people join them because of scheduling, so adding more would be within reach of more ppl. Plus, it doesn't take that much effort to create and it actually eliminates effort because now admins don't have to ask for a date; now live tournaments can run many days a week

I agree with more live tournaments. Also, we were thinking of doing member of the week, and I think that would be good. Maybe we could also do surveys?

Yeah I think live tournaments are good, maybe another daily tourney as well

Maybe live tournaments  on 3 separate days at varying times to account for others 

We could hold internal competitions say game of the week? Everyone posts their best games and we have a judge that chooses which one is the best and whichever game wins we have a spot light on it in the header?

Maybe get everyone posting Monday to Saturday then the winner drawn on the Sunday? 

That seems pretty good. But who will be the judge?

We could all do a vote here in the hq or create like a google form for the club members to vote

Do we have anyone in here who knows how to create a google form? 

@EnergeticHay and I are familiar with work on Google stuff, so one of us can do it.

But is there a way to make sure that people don't vote their own game? Because we probably need that to keep it fair.

We could have them type in their username in the google form, or perhaps we could just create a forum in the club instead (so we can see who voted for what)

Yeah, I think the forum may be better, since on the google form people can just lie with their username. (Though that probably won't happen, but just in case.)
