Instructive K+P Endgame

At least it was instructive for me.  Tongue out  I played for this position only to discover too late that I was dead lost.  This was an online "slow" game at 45 45 on ICC.   The losing move appears to be Black's 30th, which was a natural looking move many, if not most, players would make.  What do you think?

Houdini 2.0 says it's a mistake.  Black loses time with his King and fails to get in e5, so White doesn't have to rush to the Qside and can play Kf3(!)  Here are some lines

A friend of mine looked this over and pointed out ..e5 may still be possible a move later, in which case 31 ...Kf7? is the losing move.  What do you think?
