I'm 50 years old. been playing since i was around 20 or so. my rating stayed the same all these years which is 1630 blitz and 1700 rapid both chess.com.
i am not a premium member on chess.com its used just to play online games but am a premium member on chess tempo which is used mainly on tactics. i spend a lot of time watching GM playing on you tube but looks like I'm not learning anything there as i nod off half way through !! i also have some courses on chessable and have yusupov s build up your chess amongst others.
my chess highlights over the board was when i played and lost against smyslov krogius. (simultaneous). arkhipov (classic) and .sadler 15 min and drew against the late Bob Wade. (classic)
