24th December is last date before the game starts. Since the Games will be round robin, and also keeping in mind that its a festive season to start with, the number of players will not be restricted. So, anyone can join after the games start, and have to play each other. We will make it a double round robin to clear all confusion. We begin on 25th in 3 day format. I will be posting the rules and and format tomorrow. Your coordination is highly appreciated.

RULES:
1. 2 GAMES CONCURRENTLY HAS TO BE PLAYED. ONE GAME WITH WHITE AND ANOTHER WITH BLACK FOR A PARTICULAR PLAYER.
2. PLEASE NAME THE GAMES AS: " MAGH BIHU TOURNAMENT- PLAYER NAME(W) VS PLAYER NAME(B)". i.e If the Game is between Jesmin and Mainas_hut, It should be "MAGH BIHU TOURNAMENT- Jesmin(W) VS Mainas_hut(B)".
3. All scores should be submitted here in the forum, along with your opponent name and white/black denomination.
4. In order to Maintain a balance about who should challenge whom, the following order should be followed.
It will go from no 1 till no 8.
No.1 will challenge all other players.
No.2 will challenge all players below him.
No. 3 will do and so on.

6. In case of a tie in the final scoring, the selection for semi finalist will be done on progressive system. The system generally involves collection of points of the players you have defeated earlier(per game).
7. Anyother problem can be discussed in the forum itself.

PLEASE FOLLOW THE RULES IN ORDER TO RUN THE PROCESS WITHOUT MUCH PROBLEMS. IF EVERYONE CHALLENGES EVERYONE, THERE WILL BE A BIG CHAOS.
MY GAME WITH JAADU HAS STARTED
:INTRA TEAM ASSAM CHESS TOURNAMENT:
We should try to play a tournament amongst ourselves, wherein each active player plays all other active players of the team. After competing the winner submits the report in this forum. The report will updated within the turnament update chart. After the completion of all the round robin matches, the top four participants will play for the semis and than the finals. In this way we can have more interaction between the players of the team.
All the players of the team who are currently active in online chess, are requested to register their names, so that we can find the actual strength. The players left out will be contacted.
