Introduce Yourself

Having read the forum admins post, I realised there was no "introduce Yourself" as in "Hi I am Bob, I am a chessoholic" type threads. So I hope you don't mind, I just created one.

Hi I am Kev, I hail from grey overcast and quite cold at the moment England.  I have played chess for many years and started when I was about 12. I am now a lot older than that. 

I used to play (and still do) on redhotchess and was the website runner for a little clan (as they call them). It wasn't very pretty but I was able to post some games with boards and things from my chess software.

Given the amount of trouble I had getting "best games" out of people for the website, I knew there and then I would never make a good admin as I am far too timid. :) 

So I am ultra new at chess.com and still working out all the features. I spent two days, fearing to touch anything in vote chess in case I actually made the move for the whole team ! :D 

I have 1000 "notifications" every morning, so if you have offered me 1 million dollars, sorry I probably missed it whilst I was trying to work out if game x was still open and in my rating range. 

One of the great things about Chess Dominance is that it has an active forum and hence a very active community. Might have something to do with the exuberence of youth but whatever, it is good, keep it going!

Thank you for starting his forum! The group is indeed active, with the vote chess, team matches and forums. 1000 notifications?? Quite interesting...
