Didn't see an introduction thread, but wanted to say hello to everyone.

I'm Adam. I'm in my 40s, and just learning chess, so I'm coming in well behind the curve. But I love the game, and am looking forward to understanding it better. I hope I can be a useful member of this group.

I tinkered with it a little, as a kid, but, realistically, about 3 months.
