Hi Everyone,

We are starting the group. I hope everyone enjoys it!

Before we begin, tell us a little about your playing style and why you joined the Evans Gambit group.

I am an attacker and a tactician, although I am trying to master positional play. I love wild attacking games and gambits, and so that is why I made this group! I like 1.e4 openings, although I like the English. As White I like open games, and as Black, Semi-Open Games.

Tell us a little about yourself before we get started, and I hope you have a good time!

Thanks,

Eric

I play 1e4 almost exclusively.  Right now mostly playing KG against 1...e5.  Also play Spanish, Piano, Two-Knights with varying efficiency.  Do fairly well against the Pirc, French, and Scandinavian.  Currently struggling a bit to find a line of the Sicilian that I like, but I am trying the closed variation at the moment.  As black I mostly answer e4 with e5, but sometimes play the French.  Need more practice against 1d4.  Currently use the King's Indian the most.  I am really clueless on d4 openings that don't follow with 2c4.  Need practice against 1c4 and irregular openings.  Look forward to learning about the evans.
