Introductions

Hi there! I'm new to this group, having just joined today. I thought I'd start this forum for anyone interested to introduce themselves, learn about each other, ask questions, etc. Just a nice way to connect. Say anything you'd like to say. :)

I'll start:

My name is Isaac Geoffrey. I'm 16 years old, and I have been homeschooled my whole life. I'm currently taking my final semester of my senior year (and thrilled to be only months from finishing!). My grandfather first introduced me to chess almost 10 years ago, although it has really been in the last 2-3 years that I've really taken to it. I'm really close with my family, and I have been blessed with two parents who have taught me to serve God wholeheartedly from a very young age. :)

Hi Isaac my name is Susanna Marks I'm 13 years old and like you have been homeschooled my while life. I've been playing chess for almost 3 years my dad thought me how to play... and my dad is a pastor so I have known God for a long time and glad to say I'm a Christian who loves God with my whole heart. :D

Hey I have also been homeschooled my whole life and am a Christian. I am 14 ( and a boy) and love playing baseball

My name is Samuel, I've been homeschooled for all of my life like you. I'm 15 years old, and I've been playing chess since I was 7. I too have been blessed with two wonderful parents who have helped me grow in my walk with God, I have also been blessed with 10 awesome siblings, who have been a help to me in one way or another. ;)

10 siblings! Wow! I only have three younger brothers. 10 must be crazy! ;p I too have a great relationship with my siblings though. It's awesome to have their backs and know they have mine. :)

By the way @DragonWhisperer, you didn't put down your name. It's Thomas, right? (I looked around for it :) )

Yeah :) I have 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Hi and welcome to the group! Now...

I'm A half Mlaysian/chinese/Irish, born in Scotland, Grandmother on fathers side is Hokian, Grandfather on fathers side is Half Chinese half malay (NOT the Islamic type malay. I mean malsyian malay. My Cousens live in America...Australia....Germnay....All of the U.K...Canada....Singapore....

   I've been homeschooled for 7 years. One brother. Wish I had 2 more brothers and 3 more sisters!

AND FINALLY. Why has this forumn so much sucess when MY ofrumn was so bad? Because people don't like to guess

That's a fun ethnicity Max. I bet you enjoy telling it to people! I'm Jewish. I fully identify as and embrace my identity as a Jew. (If you'd like to get into the technicalities of ethnicity though, I'm only half Jewish, as my father is fully Jewish, but my mother is not. My grandfather on my mother's side is from Kentucky, so I guess his ethnicity is fully American. ;p My grandmother on my mother's side is also American, but her family definitely has some Irish in it not many generations ago. But regardless of my fun mix, if someone asks me my ethnicity, I tell them I'm Jewish.)

And I'm sorry about your forum. :( I don't know why it hasn't gone too well for you. Personally, I haven't participated because I just joined so I have nothing to go on (well, except what I've already learned on this forum, but that would be cheating ). Hope interest picks up!

So where do you guys fall in relation to your siblings in age? Oldest, youngest, etc.?

I am the oldest of my brother and sister.   i have been homeshcooled all my life exept for preschhool, kindergarden and grrade one.  my name is Connor and i am 11
