I saw the invite from the beginners subreddit and figured this would be a chill club to join. That subreddit is nice and judgement-free, so I hope this club will be too.

I'm reading Bobby Fischer's "My 60 memorable games" right now. Some of it is going over my head, but I think I'll be able to take away some lessons from the book.

My favorite openings are the Dutch Defense, King's Gambit, and I'm not happy with my black repertoire against 1.e4. I used to play the Scandinavian, now I'm trying to learn the French.
