So, what does everyone think about it?

Here's a good article on "How to use the 40 best features of iPhone 3.0"

I just downloaded it and it is installed on my iPod touch. I like how it has bluetooth now, and even a voice recorder if you hook up a mic to it, even the iPod Touch.

It costs almost $10!!!  I was going to get it, and then saw how expensive it is!  I don't think it's worth the money...

Now if it was free or even $1.29, I'd buy it...

I thought it was well worth the money for what you get - especially cut, copy, paste, the ability to search the whole ipod and mail and shake to undo/redo.. plus the overall general upgrade.

It feels a bit snapper and I do like the cut/copy/paste and search features, I'm also an vaid audiobook listener and I usually listen at x2 speed and this is now accessible inside the Music app, before I had to close the Music app and go into settings to change the playback speed.

I will admit to a few more crashed then usual, but most of these are in apps that have not updated for 3.0 compatiblity.

I forgot that you had to pay for the update if you own an iPod. iPhone owners know no such penalty. Laughing

I like the copy, paste function, the memo recorder - had bought an app to do this -, and the little changes.

But, my favorite is the Internet Tethering! I no longer have to search for a place that has wireless I can use my iPhone and Bluetooth to connect my MacBook Pro to the internet. I have tested it and the speeds are nearly as fast as wireless.

Of course if you are like me with a 3G you will have to use the "restore" function in iTunes to install this special update. It is not automatic as I am sure AT&T (in the States) does not want everyone to know about it.

See here on how to set it up.
