I still use V2 on my computer when I can but since I couldn't switch to v2 on my iPhone, I'm stuck on V3 (and writing that from my phone). Then this started happening when looking at articles, puzzles or even my own correspondence games. It has happened occasionally on my computer V3, but not regularly.
iPhone V3

This happens on a lot of board diagrams though. I'm on campus right now and forgot my laptop but I can check this evening. I don't usually have problems there though.

iPhone 6, one of the iOS 10s. There is one update I can do - I guess I can do that tonight. Seemed to be working fine up until a couple days ago

Erik -- this is eerily similar to what I saw with the v3 App on Android, that I reported months ago. The App, from what I could tell, has some bug that gets the board off-track and subsequent moves are permitted, though they only extend the incorrectness and illegality of the position.

Happens to me too. I'm guessing we are too fast for app. When I allow time for it to load correctly it never happens. When i jump right itno moving or going to somewhere on site it does it alot.

In my experience with the Android App, once it gets off the rails, it never recovers. I can eat my own rooks with my king if I want, the App accepts the moves without objection.
