Is Flying Still Safe?

Ngl, commercial flying is at it's peak right now in terms of technology and advancements. Most of theses accidents are happening for neglecting simple problems. So, most of this is human error, which can be fixed. So, I think flying is generally safe.

Ppl think that the Indian Air incident was because the co accidentally didn't lower the gear but actually receded the flaps so that the plane could not go up. Therefore, the plane would naturally go into a stall and crash. Also, the R.A.T was out, so maybe that had something to do with it. If you watch the video, you can hear the R.A.T whirring btw. (R.A.T=Ram Air Turbine.) That is usually only deployed in emergency, and it was fully deployed before the crash. So probably it was either pilot error or an engine faliure. Even so, this aircraft is still very safe, and this was one of the first major incidents.
After hearing that yet another plane crash happened, (June 12th, Air India 171, killing almost all,) I had to post this topic. Is flying still safe? In late 2024+early 2025, multiple incidents have occurred, including JeJu Air crash, American Air crash, medical jet crash, and this.
