Is it possible to get 2900 classical rating

Till now no one reach the summit of 2900 FIDE classical rating. The highest rating ever recorded was 2882 by Magnus Carlsen in May 2014 but still no one reach 2900 rating.

Did it is possible to reach 2900 rating in future?
