im hoping to get one new to chess I'm a sophmore I play much better over the board have only been playing for four months and can already beat my 1600 teacher and friends its just how quickly you can pick it up and you need to do in person tournaments

I play really aggressive though it catches people off guard over the board

I feel like this is just my obviously biased opinion but I pic strategic games up easier because I'm a kid and its easier for my brain and my ADHD helps but age is definitely a factor when your new to chess in my opinion
