its essentially a faster ladder mate. you can do the same thing with a rook and a queen just takes a few extra moves

Ziryab that isn't a mate queen on d5 is undefended king can take.
Just came across it in a game and I was curious if it had an official name (like Damiano's mate, or Anastasia's mate).
