A sink or bathtub with a drain. The water goes in and cannot escape. The water is a spiral galaxy and the drain is a supermassive Black Hole. A hurricane looks like a spiral galaxy with the eye it's Black Hole. Everything is the same thing, just on a smaller scale. We are limited by our senses. Our perceptions are determined by those senses and our limited intelligence. We perceive the way we do to make sense of it all, to survive in a world of our creation.
I also think we all live in our own Universe.Sometimes for brief periods our univeres overlap. A person walks by and you see him. Once he leaves your field of vision, he doesn't exist in your Universe anymore, yet he continues his journey through his own. So this happens trillions upon trillions of times throughout our infinite Universes.
It's fun to use your imagination and creativity to try to understand reality, instead of writing fiction. And it's a much better use of it.
