Sow with a view to Righteousness, reap in accordance with kindness; Break up your fallow ground.
For it is time to seek The LORD until HE Comes to Rain Righteousness Upon you. Hosea 10:12.
GOD Is Saying in Hosea 10:12,
'Bear rightness, justice and reap according to kindness and mercy (James 4:8-10); break up your fallow ground now, seek, ask for The LORD to attain and show rightness, equity.' (James 4:5-7). Matthew 7:7-12.
Hosea was obviously in a time when people were under The Law.
But now we are under Grace, for because of the weakness of the flesh there is no Law that can impart The Righteousness Of GOD. Galatians 3:21-22, Matthew 5:17-20.
'Has The LORD as much Delight in burnt offerings and sacrifice as in obeying The Voice Of The LORD?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, to heed than the fat of rams.' 1 Samuel 15:22.
The Apostle Paul writes that he was, as to the Righteousness which is found in The Law, found blameless.
But whatever things were gain to him, these things he counted as loss for the sake of CHRIST. That more than that, he counted all things to be loss in view of the Surpassing Value of knowing CHRIST JESUS his LORD. Philippians 3.
We are to live no differently. This is knowing humility; This is JESUS CHRIST being our LORD And SAVIOUR.
We are Called to humble ourselves in The Presence Of The LORD.
Our Righteousness Is MESSIAH JESUS, WHO through our faith in HIM, through which GOD Gives The HOLY SPIRIT, we may indeed establish The Law through faith: our believing in and following HIM; word and deed. Romans 3:31.
"I AM The Way And The Truth And The Life; no one comes to The FATHER, but Through ME." John 14:6.
Only GOD Is The Way And The Truth And The Life, following and believing in anyone else is futility. GOD cannot lie. Colossians 1:9-23, Corinthians 9:24 - 10:15.
This means that through The faith we are Taught Of GOD HIMSELF, where true believers ultimately learn and grow from within (1 John 2:18-29) and will begin to recognise false teachers, false prophets, false brethren and to live by Grace through faith establishing The Law, as opposed to striving in the flesh to observe what is written in The Law and of offerings for sin. John 7:37-39. Hebrews 9:11-14.
'And for you, the Anointing Which you Received From HIM Abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as HIS Anointing Teaches you about all things, and Is True and is not a lie and just as It has Taught you, you (must) abide In HIM.' 1 John 2:27.
We are to live as The Word is A Lamp To our feet and A Light to our Path, and remain obedient to The Word; not proving disobedient to It; keeping The Greatest and Foremost Commandment and loving our neighbour as ourself. 1 John 4:19 - 5:4. 1 Peter 2:1-9, Luke 10:25-28.
'If anyone supposes that he knows anything, he has not yet known as he ought to know; but if anyone loves GOD, he is Known By HIM.' 1 Corinthians 8:2-3.
By Grace through faith, being GOD'S Workmanship, we are Called to die to sin that we may live, not being slaves of sin but to being slaves of Righteousness, resulting in Sanctification. Romans 6:15-19. John 3:36.
'WHO Will Transform the body of our humble state into conformity with The Body Of HIS Glory, By The Exertion Of The Power That HE Has even to subject all things to HIMSELF.' Philippians 3:21.
'For whatever is born Of GOD overcomes the world; and this is The Victory that has overcome the world - our faith.' 1 John 5:4.
But The Wisdom From Above is first Pure, then Peaceable, Gentle, Reasonable, full of Mercy and Good Fruits, Unwavering, without hypocrisy.
And The Seed WHOSE Fruit Is Righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.'
James 3:17-18.
The Seed Is JESUS CHRIST (Galatians 3:16).
Firstly, on writing this I found that one whom I know did not understand in verse 18,'Righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.'
Their understanding was that it was something we had to do, that we have to sow peace, and that peacemakers sow in peace and so reap the fruit of Righteousness.
This is incorrect.
It is not something we have to do because we actually do not know how to do this in and by ourselves.
Of this, Scripture is clear.
(Romans 3:9-31); For nothing good dwells in us, that is our flesh (Romans 7:18); but it's something that those who truly walk under Grace through faith in The SON Of GOD will both learn and know to do, because it is the fruit of The SPIRIT; Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, faithfulness, Gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no Law.
The Washing Of Regeneration and Renewing By The HOLY SPIRIT. Titus 3:5-8.
"You will know them by their fruits."
CHRIST Is The Seed, The Fruit Of Righteousness Is Of The HOLY SPIRIT, WHOM GOD Poured out Upon us Richly Through JESUS CHRIST our SAVIOUR.
Graciously Giving, Justifying those who obey HIM.
"He who believes in The SON Has Eternal Life; but he who does not obey The SON shall not see Life, but The Wrath Of GOD Abides On him."John 3:36.
"This Is The Work Of GOD, that you believe in HIM WHOM HE Has Sent." John 6:29.
Scripture tells us that none of us know the way of peace.
Read Romans 3:9-20, and pause to recognise this when you get to verses 17-18,
'And the path of peace they have not known.'
"There is no fear of GOD before their eyes."
Then go to Isaiah 59 and read it through, verses 1 to 21, but pause again at verse 8, again to recognise that on our own we do not know the things that make for peace.
'They do not know the way of peace and there is no justice in their tracks; they have made their paths crooked; whoever treads on them does not know peace.'
Then go to Luke 1:67-79, and at verses 78-79 recognise the Prophecy and why MESSIAH JESUS Came...to Guide our way into The Way Of Peace.
"Because of the Tender Mercy Of our GOD, With Which The Sunrise From On High Shall Visit us, to Shine Upon those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to Guide our feet into The Way Of Peace."
Then go to Romans 5:1-5 to recognise now, how we may have peace with GOD and that this comes through our faith in JESUS CHRIST and then consequently Through The HOLY SPIRIT. 2 Thessalonians 2:13-17.
'Therefore having been Justified by faith, we have Peace with GOD Through our LORD JESUS CHRIST, Through WHOM also we have Obtained our Introduction by faith into this Grace in Which we stand...'
Then read Matthew 7:7-20.
Righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace and It Is All GOD'S Work, All Being The Fruit Of The SPIRIT, and nought of ourselves.
"And the one on whom seed was sown on the good soil, this is the man who hears The Word and understands It; who indeed bears fruit and brings forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty and some thirty."
Matthew 13:23.
'For By Grace you have been Saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, The Gift Of GOD; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.
For we are HIS Workmanship, Created In CHRIST JESUS for Good Works, Which GOD Prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them...'
Ephesians 2:8-10.
By The FATHER'S Doing we are In CHRIST JESUS: WHO Is To us all, Wisdom From GOD And Righteousness And Sanctification And Redemption. 1 Corinthians 1:30-31.
"Come to ME, all who are weary and heavy-laden and I Will Give you Rest.
"Take MY Yoke upon you and learn From ME, for I AM Gentle And Humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls.
"For MY Yoke is easy and MY Load is light."
Matthew 11:28-30
HE Becomes to us Wisdom And Righteousness And Sanctification And Redemption through our faith in HIM.
If we, as a professing believer in JESUS CHRIST, choose to refuse anything that is contained in Scripture, then our faith is not purely in GOD; but we choose to maintain impurity; being self-willed we are not willingly going through the Process of Sanctification By The SPIRIT and faith in The Truth (2 Thessalonians 2:13), that we may understand what The Will Of GOD is; that which is good and acceptable and perfect; that HIS Word truly bears Its Fruit in all our living. 1 Thessalonians 2:13.
'But you did not learn CHRIST in this way, if indeed you have heard HIM (Romans 10:17, 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2) and have been Taught In HIM, just as Truth Is In JESUS,
that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit and that you be Renewed in the spirit(sentient element) of your mind, and put on the New self, which In GOD Has Been Created In Righteousness And Holiness Of The Truth.
Therefore, laying aside falsehood, speak Truth, each one with his neighbour (Luke 10:36-37; here, 'ginomai'; in v36 translated as 'was' or 'proved to be' is the defining word), for we are members of one another...
Ephesians 4 (v20-25) and see Romans 12.
'For we Through The SPIRIT, by faith, are waiting for the Hope Of Righteousness.'Galatians 5:5.
'Not by might nor by power, but By MY SPIRIT,' Says The LORD Of Hosts. Zechariah 4:6.
By simple logic, what James tells us in verses 14-16 of chapter 3, being in contrast to that which is From Above, it shows that what is From Above (v17-18) is wholly compliant with GOD; HIS SPIRIT; HIS Very Heart; and nothing whatsoever of the wisdom that is natural, earthly, demonic; which is what we all, without exception, are of by our fleshly nature we are born into from our mother's womb.
'Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity and in sin my mother conceived me.
Behold, THOU Dost Desire Truth in the innermost being and in the hidden part THOU Wilt Make me know Wisdom.' Psalm 51:5-6.
Hence, now under Grace, the need to be born again Of The SPIRIT; fleshly to Spiritual. John 3:3-8.
'For The Law Of The SPIRIT Of Life In CHRIST JESUS has Set me Free from The Law of sin and death.
For what The Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, GOD: Sending HIS Own SON in the Likeness of sinful flesh and For sin, HE Condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the Requirement of The Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to The SPIRIT...' Romans 8 (v2-4).
And hence why James begins in verse 17 and through to verse 18, "But The Wisdom that is From Above is first Pure (Truly Perfect),thereafter (accordingly) Peaceable, Gentle, Reasonable, full of Mercy and Good Fruits, Unwavering, without hypocrisy.
And The Seed WHOSE Fruit Is Righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.'
To see a comparison and a change in the spirit of a man, first being natural, earthly, then to being a spirit being of the Wisdom that is From Above, we can go to Luke 9:51-56, then to 1 John, 2 John, 3 John.
Here is the telling by Luke of two of The LORD'S Disciples, James and John, who, on seeing The LORD JESUS not being received in a village of the Samaritans, saying to HIM,
"LORD, do you want us to command fire to come down from Heaven and consume them?"
And Scripture tells us,
'But HE turned and Rebuked them and said, "You do not know what kind of Spirit you are of; for The SON Of Man did not Come to destroy men's lives, but to Save them." '
Then look at John's three letters to see a heart Cleansed Through The SPIRIT, By The Grace Of GOD through The faith that is in CHRIST JESUS The LORD.
'...and HE HIMSELF Is The Propitiation For our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
And by this we know that we have come to know HIM, if we keep HIS Commandments.
The one who says, "I have come to know HIM," and does not keep HIS Commandments, is a liar and The Truth is not in him; but whoever keeps HIS Word, in him The Love Of GOD has truly been Perfected.
By this we know that we are In Him: the one who says he abides in HIM ought himself to walk in the same manner as HE Walked.
Beloved, I am not writing a new Commandment to you, but and old Commandment Which you have had from the beginning; the old Commandment Is The Word Which you have heard... 1 John 2:2-7.
'Do not marvel, Brethren, if the world hates you.
We know that we have passed out of death into Life, because we love the Brethren. He who does not love abides in death.
Everyone who hates his Brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has Eternal Life abiding in him.
We know love by this, that HE Layed down HIS Life For us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the Brethren...' 1 John 3:13-16.
'By this we know that we abide In Him and HE In us, because HE Has Given us Of HIS SPIRIT.'1 John 4:13.
'The one who believes in The SON Of GOD has The Witness in himself; the one who does not believe GOD has made HIM a liar, because he has not believed in The Witness That GOD Has Borne Concerning HIS SON...'
1 John 5:10.
'But The Goal of our Instruction Is love from a pure (Cleansed) heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.' 1 Timothy 1:5.
"But I Say To you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
"Whoever hits you on the cheek, offer him the other also; and whoever takes away your coat, do not withold your shirt from him either.
"Give to everyone who asks of you and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back.
"And just as you want people to treat you, treat them in the same way..." Luke 6:20-38 (v27-31).
"Therefore, however you want people to treat you, so treat them, for this is The Law and the Prophets..." Matthew 7:1-27 (v12).
'Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly (be of the same mind with the humble; Matthew 11:28-30).
Never pay back evil for evil to anyone.
Respect what is right in the sight of all men.
If possible, as far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men.
Never take your own revenge, Beloved, but leave room for The Wrath Of GOD, for It Is Written,
"Vengeance Is MINE, I Will Repay," Says The LORD.
"But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so you will heap burning coals upon his head."
Do not be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12 (v16-21).
The New self, In GOD, Is Created In Righteousness And Holiness Of The Truth.
Therefore, HIS Fruit in Truth Is Righteousness, or, Right-Wiseness.
'...No one who is born Of GOD practices sin, because HIS Seed Abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born Of GOD.' 1 John 3:1-15 (v9).
Of course we all sin. We all will get it wrong along the way; but GOD Gives repentance.
John here is not stating we will not sin (see 1 John 1:5 - 2:8), but that no one who is truly born Of GOD practices sin, that is, to wilfuly continue in sin after Receiving The Knowledge Of The Truth.
GOD'S Grace Is Sufficient for the one who lives by faith in The SON Of GOD; HE WHOSE Blood Cleanses us from all our sins.
Saved By The Blood Of The LAMB: HE WHO Loves us and Released us from our sins By HIS Blood.
This means we learn; that we die to sin that we may live to Righteousness (2 Corinthians 4:16), as Paul writes and asks in his letter to The Church in Rome,
'What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that Grace might increase?
May it never be!
How shall we who died to sin still live in it?
Or do you not know that we who have been Baptised into CHRIST JESUS have been Baptised into HIS Death?
Therefore we have been buried with HIM Through Baptism into death, in order (to the intent) that as CHRIST Was Raised From the dead Through The Glory Of The FATHER, so we too might walk in Newness of life.
For if we have become united With in the likeness of HIS Death (1 Peter 4:1-2), certainly we shall be also Of HIS Resurrection,...
Romans 6:1 -7:6 (6:1-5).
'If' here in verse 5 is the defining word, as to whether we remain practicing the deeds of the flesh, or, By The SPIRIT live putting to death the deeds of the body (Romans 8:12-14).
The fulfilment of Scripture according to Scripture in our living, is the receiving of The Promise Of GOD Through faith in HIS Beloved SON: Eternal Life.
1 John 2:18-29.
If we go on sinning wilfuly after Receiving The Knowledge Of The Truth, for such a one, there no longer remains A Sacrifice For sins, but a certain and terrifying expectation of Judgment and a Fury of a Fire Which Will Consume those who indeed proved themselves to be adversaries (1 John 2:19); by their trampling under foot The SON Of GOD, regarding as unclean The Blood Of The Covenant and insulting The SPIRIT Of Grace. Hebrews 10:26-39.
'And working together, we urge you not to Receive The Grace Of GOD in vain -...' 2 Corinthians 6:1 - 7:1 (6:1).
"I AM The Vine, you are the branches; he who abides In ME and I In him, he bears much fruit; for apart from ME you can do nothing.
"If anyone does not abide in ME, he is Thrown Away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them and cast them into The Fire and they are burned. John 15:15-16.
'Clouds and thick darkness surround HIM; Righteousness And Justice Are The Foundation Of HIS Throne.'
'Hate evil, you who love The LORD, WHO Preserves the souls of HIS Godly ones; HE Delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
Light Is Sown For the Righteous and gladness for the upright in heart.
Be glad in The LORD, you Righteous ones; and give thanks to HIS Holy Name.' Psalm 97:2 & v10-12.
As James writes In The SPIRIT Of GOD,
'But The Wisdom From Above is first Pure, thereafter Peaceable...'
Pure: Truly Perfect, thereafter Peaceable, Gentle, Reasonable, full of Mercy and Good Fruits, Unwavering, without hypocrisy.
As The Heavely Host who appeared with the angel praising GOD when The SAVIOUR, CHRIST The LORD was Born said,
"Glory To GOD In The Highest and on earth Peace among men with whom HE Is Pleased."Luke 2:14.
There are many who remain sullied by the flesh, even blindly, yet who stand before others as administrators, supposedly furthering the administration Of GOD.
They are known by the congregation as teachers, pastors, overseers, and whatever else is laid claim to.
Many of these will claim to be being Called Of GOD in what they do.
But when one who makes such a bold claim as this, who then refuses to be shown that anything he is preaching, believing in, or practicing, is infact hypocrisy; being contrary to The Word Of GOD, he then proves himself to be no more than a liar, wilfuly continuing in sin and in need of repentance; he is doing no more than believing in himself as the authority; and through this wilful insubordination setting himself as an idol in his own heart. 1 Samuel 15:23. Colossians 3:5-17.
'As in water face reflects face, so the heart of man reflects man.' Proverbs 27:19.
'But he who boasts, let him boast in The LORD.
For not he who commends himself is Approved, but whom The LORD Commends.' 2 Corinthians 10:17-18.
What he, being contrary to The Word, then practices, it cannot possibly thereafter bring what is, according to GOD, peaceable; because he, being self-willed, is unquestionably sowing division in The Body Of JESUS CHRIST: HIS Church. Acts 20:27-32.
'Now I urge you, Brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to The Teaching Which you learned, and turn away from them.
For such men are slaves, not Of our LORD CHRIST but of their own appetites; and by their smooth and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting.' Romans 16:17-18.
'Now I exhort you , Brethren, By The Name Of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, that you all agree and there be no divisions among you, but you be made Complete in the same mind and in the same judgment.' 1 Corinthians 1:10.
"And The Glory Which THOU Hast Given ME I have Given them; that they may be One, just as WE Are ONE; I In them And THOU In ME, that they may be Perfected in Unity, that the world may know that THOU Didst Send ME and Didst Love them, even as THOU Didst Love ME..."John 17:22-23.
'but just as It Is Written, "Things Which eye has not seen and ear has not heard and have not entred the heart of man, All That GOD Has Prepared For those who love HIM."
For To us GOD Revealed Them Through The SPIRIT; for The SPIRIT Searches all things, even The Depths Of GOD. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10.
'Behold, The Eye Of The LORD Is On those who fear HIM, On those who hope for HIS Lovingkindness, to Deliver their soul from death and to keep them alive in famine.
Our soul waits for The LORD; HE Is our Help And our Shield.
For our heart rejoices In HIM, because we trust in HIS Holy Name.
Let THY Lovingkindness, O LORD, Be Upon us, according as we have hoped in THEE.' Psalm 33:18-22.
'The LORD Favours those who fear HIM, those who wait for HIS Lovingkindness.' Psalm 147:11.
Daniel 9:4-19.
There is no genuine humility before GOD, no genuine reverence in those who will maintain the flesh, which is no more or less than arrogance before GOD; and GOD Is Opposed to the proud but Gives Grace To the humble.
'Behold, as for the proud one, his soul is not right within him; but the Righteous will live by his faith.'
Habakkuk 2:4.
Accordingly, one who maintains such a spirit, he then proves himself as being unreasonable and full of hypocrisy; and contrary to all James writes here in 3:17-18.
As the Apostle Paul writes to The Church at Corinth, and which GOD Gives to us as an example through him,
'And I, Brethren, could not speak to you as to Spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to babes in CHRIST.
I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able.
Indeed, even now you are not yet able, for you are still fleshly.
For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly and are you not walking like mere men?...' 1 Corinthians 3:1-3.
In the same way as our LORD JESUS Rebuked James and John for the ignorance that was in them at that time when they were ignorant to The Way Of GOD, written in Luke 9:55-56, so too, there are those who stand before the congregation who will show by their words and deeds that they do not themselves know what kind of Spirit they are of.
These are those who, believing in themselves, will reject any form of correction, choosing instead to look to protect the position they hold in the church, rather than from the heart, knowing true humility and truly serving The LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO Is The Head; and being worshipers of THE FATHER in spirit and Truth. John 4:23-24.
'He who overcomes, I Will Make him a pillar In The Temple Of MY GOD and he will not go out from It anymore; and I Will Write Upon him The Name Of MY GOD And The Name Of The City Of MY GOD, The New Jerusalem, Which Comes Down Out of Heaven From MY GOD, And MY New Name.
'He who has ears to hear, let him hear what The SPIRIT Says To the Churches.' Revelation 3:12-13.
They do not hear the warnings in Scripture, even from The Mouth Of JESUS, HE WHO they call LORD and yet from their heart they do not know how to obey HIM. Luke 17:1-10, Mark 9:42-50, Luke 9:23-27, Matthew 13.
No man is above the Scriptures.
I know a man who stands as a Pastor who stood before the congregation and quoting from Titus 3:10-11 he told of challenges he had faced over the years from people in the church, telling him that what he was doing was wrong.
In this he declared that there are some people who want the power and position for themselves, are jealous of what they see others have, and this, according to himself, is why he had suffered such things.
But in his words and deeds he shows that the position and authority he believes of himself is in fact his motivation in doing what he does and how he does it and is what is most important to him to hold on to, rather than humbly looking to serve The LORD JESUS CHRIST and counting himself least of all, carefully examining everything.
In his claim that people challenge him from jealousy or for want of position for themselves, being more to do with the flesh than to truly serving The LORD, he of course may well sometimes be right. It of course does happen.
But even a broken clock is right twice a day and it is wrong for one to presume that each time another points out where they believe he is in error it is from fleshly motives and a challenge to him as an overseer by whatever name he might be called as an overseer in The Church Of GOD.
In this he is greatly mistaken because it shows he sees Pastor as a title and position of authority. It is not.
It is a Gift through which he is to serve others for their joy, for their building up.
In this instance I have seen that he, according to Scripture, speaks some things that are right, but also has in fact been wrong in both his understandings of Scripture and his conduct according to Scripture and in it has rejected correction as well as the one attempting to show the error when he was indeed in need of correction and consequently, repentance; and to this day still he stands before the unsuspecting and goes on as before, justifying both himself and others whom he himself appoints to positions in the church and stating that they are called of GOD to do what they do.
It may be true that a man is Given as Pastor, but this does not give that man, whoever he is and whoever he claims to be, a right to preach or act contrary to The Word and in his own wisdom and understanding of It.
It means he has a great responsibility before GOD and he shall one day answer to GOD for all he has done.
Luke 12:35-48.
'See to it that you do not refuse HIM WHO Is Speaking.
For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned on earth, much less who turn away from HIM WHO Warns From Heaven.
And HIS Voice Shook the earth then, but now HE Has Promised, Saying, "Yet Once More I Will Shake not only the earth, but also the Heaven."
And this, "Yet Once More," denotes the Removing of those things which can be shaken, as of Created things, in order that those things which cannot be shaked may remain.
Therefore, since we Receive A Kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to GOD an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our GOD Is A Consuming Fire.' Hebrews 12:25-29.
'How can a young man keep his way pure?
By keeping according to THY Word.' Psalm 119:9.
'The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man is he who listens to counsel.' Proverbs 12:15.
'THY Testimonies also are my delight; my Counselors.' Psalm 119:24.
'Do you see a man wise in his own eyes?
There is more hope for a fool than for him.' Proverbs 26:12.
...'Do not be wise in your own estimation.'...
Romans 12:16.
'I will fetch my knowledge from afar and I will ascribe Righteousness to my MAKER.' Job 36:3.

Hear The Parable of The Sower, Luke 8:5-21, and understand, not only are we to bear fruit in keeping with repentance, but we are also Called to bring forth fruit to maturity.
This Parable here, Matthew 25:14-30, shows the difference between doing so and not doing so.
"Now no one after lighting a lamp covers it over with a container, or puts it under a bed; but he puts it on a lampstand, in order that those who come in may see the light.
"For nothing is hidden that shall not become evident, nor secret that shall not be known and come to light.
"Therefore take care how you listen; for whoever has, to him shall be Given; and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has shall be Taken Away from him."
Luke 8:16-18.
What Is Written in James 3:17 is Knowledge; full discernment attained to; coming from maturity, being a Knowledge held and understood and being without partiality and dissimulation.
Therefore, what is Written in verse 18 cannot truly be grasped in that the understanding of it is known in the professing yet disobedient heart.
'The SPIRIT Of The LORD GOD Is Upon me, because The LORD Has Anointed me to bring Good News to the afflicted; HE Has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim Liberty to captives and Freedom to prisoners;
To proclaim The Favourable Year Of The LORD and The Day Of Vengeance Of our GOD; to comfort all who mourn.
To grant those who mourn Zion, giving them A Garland instead of ashes, The Oil Of Gladness instead of mourning, The Mantle Of Praise instead of a spirit of fainting.
So they will be called oaks Of Righteousness, the Planting Of The LORD that HE may be Glorified...'
Isaiah 61 (v1-3).
'But The Wisdom From Above is first Pure, then Peaceable, Gentle, Reasonable, full of Mercy and Good Fruits, Unwavering, without hypocrisy.
And The Seed WHOSE Fruit Is Righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.'
James 3:17-18.
See then how James continues to write in what we have portioned as being chapter 4.
'Until The SPIRIT Is Poured Out Upon us From On High,
And the wilderness becomes a fertile field.
And The Work Of Righteousness will be Peace,
And the service Of Righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.' Isaiah 32:15-17.
"Salt is good; but if the salt becomes unsalty, with what will you make it salty?
Have salt in yourselves and be at peace with one another." Mark 9:50.
'Finally, Brethren, rejoice, be Made Complete, be Comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and The GOD Of Love And Peace Shall Be With you.
