Jan´s OTB Master Study Plan
Hi friends.
I just finished the first week of my OTB plan. I managed to conclude all the points of the plan with good results:
In the puzzles I got 32 solutions, I played 4 games 15 + 10, 1 victory, 1 defeat and 2 draws
.
I analyzed my games detecting some opportunities for improvement, such as lack of mastery of the opening system used, weaknesses in the calculation and lack of an anti-blunder check.
I did not manage to advance many pages of Yusupov's book, but I did make good use of the pages studied.
at the end of the week my statistics are now:
blitz 2048 (+16)
Rapid 2084 (+32)
Puzzles 32 (=)
I just finished the 4th week of my study plan.
This week:
1. Puzzle rush: I broke my personal record of 32 and reached 34 problems solved in 5 minutes.
2. 3 + 0 blitz: I'm not used to playing at this time control and I can't get used to it during the week. in the games I left many pieces hanging and lost many games due to time. my record for the week was 16 W 21 L Y 1 D for 43%.
3. I analyzed most of the games, I could not analyze them all, in most of them I had serious problems of time trouble and blunders.
4. Took a 60 minute session with Dvoretsky's chess test book ... very hard ...
At the end of my first month of training these are my statistics:
1. Blitz: 2019 (-29)
2. Rapid: 2133 (+49)
3. Puzzle Rush: 34 (+2)
4. Chess.com Problems: 2828 (+59).
