This is the recap for our January club daily match, the club match result is not in our flavor this time. But we do have some brili..... well no, just some great moves. How ever that doesn't mean we would not showcase them here. Also I notice that "Kidult Chess HK 2024 Daily Match 01" are still going on with 2 games left, wonder how haha. Alright let's cut the craps and get straight to the showcase and recap.
Recap
Right here you may find highlighted moves from games & commentary from me listed below. Please do view the whole game if you will.
Our friend from Turks and Caicos Islands playing as black against their rival, played 1 great move with Bxf3 at the 9th move. They captured white's Knight after their Bishop being attack. The reason why Bxf3 is a Great move for black is because after white capture the Bishop back, black have the move Qb6 delivering a fork on both pawns at d4 and b2. But in the real match, black did not spot the material winning move. Losing a great opportunity to gain upper hand.
CrabbyHead probably gonna be my favorite player in January Club Daily Match Brilliant Move Recap. You'll see why later. This the game where they play as white and in the 12th move, they spotted this outstanding attack chain move Knight to b5, attacking their Overloaded Queen and then luring their Queen away from the weak c7 pawn, and then delivering a double attack on both rooks! Devastating their opponent pieces and creating Chain Passed Pawn for white! Beautiful having seen such a outstanding move in a while.
Yet again, this is another game that played by CrabbyHead. And this one has the most Great move been played in our January Club Daily Match with soltuzuB play 5 Great moves in a single game. Wow, insane. Great move that played CrabbyHead was not a outstanding move this time but it's needed a great move to gain back some material loss.
This game Piiseis3 played 2 Great moves in a row, brilliant right? With the first one capturing a free pawn and then adding more pressure on the Knight, Bishop and the diagonal line. Potentially able to destroy their king's shelter gaining the upper hand.
The great move right here is not like other super outstanding but, a great move is a great move. with again Piiseis3 playing as white. Playing Nd6+ double attacking their opponent after they made a horrible blunder.
With this game played by Allofthemgalar, they make a really great counter attack move. Well, 2 counter attack moves to be exact. This first one Qe7 pinning the e5 pawn, opponent thought they could pin and attack your Knight? HELL NAH! Qe7 Counter attack move!
And the second move, after their opponent capturing their Knight. Black yet again found the best way to deal with the threat.
Well, white does not have a huge advantage after playing g6 but however it could definitely put black's knight in a really really bad position.
-----------------------------------------
Conclusion
Even though that we did not played any Brilliant move in January club daily match but there are a really outstanding moves and games been played such as the chain attack from CrabbyHead game.
So hope you had a great time reading this recap. Make sure to also comment your thought or anything that I missed. Have a good day.
