This one was just a big blunder in the opening of course.

I think qd8 was bad. Maybe just grab the knight with the queen and take the exchange loss.

You know what...I didn't even see Qxd4 on the board(such an easy move to see)...only saw it afterwards in my analysis...i tried to force things without being developed and paid the price against a 12 year old kid...ouch!!!...next tournament is the 24th of Feb...5 rounds in 1 day...standard time controls...will have finished the Pachman book by then I believe

You'll do well. I think you were very nervous. Can't underestimate anyone. Have to play everyone like they're a gm.
