Here I give an example

White move 24.Nd8 ,could you find a better move for white and what is black's possible reply.

Iwill post a another game of mine soon....here is a game from me it was between me and ADK a few week ago.

on my 11th move I move b4? not a good move is it, why?  how do I play better? was this crucial point for black ? btw I blunder in the next move Qe2 ?? why is this a blunder ? I got the info from the chess.com analysis, hope u don't mind is because I can't see where I goes wrong in the midgame.

Yes! Push the b pawn so that the bishop is takeable by your rook. Then when Nd8 and he takes Knight, he loses one of the attacking pieces on the bishop and you can take his bishop.

1b5...Bxb5

2Nd8...Rxd8

3Rxb5...

I think this is better and holds, although you are now down a pawn but I don't think it is lost.

24. Nd8 is no good because of Qc7

yes u were right about 24.b5 also Bxb5
                                 25. Nxg7   Kxg7
                                 26. Rg4+  any of black reply is not good from there
or 25. Nxb7 Bxc4
    26. Ng5 is also good for white.

offhand, 11 Pxd5...will leave black with an isolated q pawn, and if black later moves Re1 and then plays ...pxd4 then Nxd4 is an outpost for white's knight with isolated black d pawn that blocks black's qbishop if it moves to b7 while the outpost white knight on d5 blocks the black k bishop diagonal and fix the black d5 pawn so it continues to block the diagonal, Rc1 to chase black queen and take the c file. White K bishop to c2 so queen reinforces knight on d4 and/or Bb2 for support on d4. I didn't work out the tactics but the strategy gives, isolated black pawn that can be attacked, blocks of blacks diagonals for bishops, outpost knight, and I think white has stronger position.

If black doesn't take d4 pawn, Bb2, Rc1 and black's bishops partially blocked, black has c file and tremendous d4 central pressure.

I  had trouble following the moves in your last post as not sure which point Bxb5 starts from and what preceded 25Nxb7.

Note to the first diagram; this was taken from a match between Flohr-Fine, Hastings 1935-36 and is was study by Kotov "Think like a Grandmaster", this book also inspired me to form this group.

Really! So what did Salvo do and what was recommending in the GM analysis?

In the second game, what did chess.com analysis recommend?? Can you post their comments?
