Are you guys saying there no problem in the opening so far ?
kco's midgame post #2

opening looked really goood there KC but at move 8 when you had him push that horse back home you should have had him....I mean you should have developed a bishop instead of the pawn push.
The game was definitely leaning your way though, I also would not have done a pawn push on move 13....did you do that to prevent him from advancing his pawn any further? I think better piece developement would have been better.
maybe scoot your horse around some...like a4 maybe then look at ways to develop your bishops better.
I'll look at the second half later but thats my quick take on the first part

hey wjones4, what wrong with having a c-pawn supporting the d-pawn ? (1st diag. 9th move) yes is goes make sense to develope a piece like 9.Bc4 instead.
yeah on move 13.f4 is to stop the advance of the f-pawn

nothing really wrong with that but I think bringing out some more power at that point would have been a little better. the d pawn was supported temporarily by your queen so for him to go after it he would need to set up at least two pieces already by then you could have pushed the c pawn....but like I said there is nothing really wrong with that move....your opening was pretty solid
Here is a game between me and thebloks in which I lost recently. Here the opening, is there anywhere I could improved ?
I will show the rest of the game soon....
