That's not a very interesting concept...anyone could make a position like that just for fun, and could do it a million other ways but the strategies would still be the same and there would be no variety or uniqueness
How about this idea: every piece has a random role , changing the pieces movement.

lol that's basically chess 960 except the pieces look different, also that would allow both rooks to be one side of the king so no castling and that would also allow bishops to be on the same color
the catch is "you can only play with knights"
