Koufos' Study Plan

Hello all. Hope everyone is having fun with their chess journey. I'm starting this study plan so that I can have some consistency, and so I can stop bouncing around studying "this, that, and the other." I have quite a big gap between my blitz and rapid rating and I'm hoping this study plan will help me to reduce blunders in my blitz games. Good luck to everyone.

One week in. I'm really enjoying that following this plan forces me to play more games. I can always find an excuse to not play a game: I'm tired, I'm busy, I'm psyched out. But I like that this plan gives me a goal of playing everyday, and when I do I can check off that box. So far, analyzing my games has shown me that I still need to work on blunder checks. So before each move I'm trying to remember to perform PPL (Pieces, Pawns, Lines). Before I consider my own candidate moves I also what each of his pieces is currently doing, then the same for his pawns (I tend to miss pawn kicks), then look for what lines, diagonals, ranks, files he can take advantage of. When I remember to do that, I blunder less.
