I simply agree with JumpyKnight8, that's the way the game has been conceived ie. based on points and that's the way it should be.

I wholeheartedly agree. I am simply advocating giving the last mate a few more points to reward the last man standing.

Any more and you've got to start bringing into question if it's worth playing the rest of the game at all.
There is another way of playing four player chess and that's by playing soley for checkmates. Doing this could invite some dubious tactics that the creators of the current four player chess probably didn't want to deal with.
Maybe you'd prefer that?

I've played a few more games, and I think, like you, the system is ok as it is. It's actually quite fun.
However there are a lot of features missing like, game notation, possibility to look back on old games, a clearer way of creating games along with a few other things that I cant think of at the moment.
