NCV Ratings calculation:

(Note that L is W but opposite and x -1.)
(Lower limit ≤ Range < Upper limit)
Rating change:
- Find Opponent rating - Your rating
- Find the correct row from table above.
- In that row, if you Won: Use W; if it is a Draw: Use D; if you lost: Use L
- Find the value k (e.g.: 3rd row, use D: k=-1.0)
- If it is a normal game: Change = 10k; Daily games/Vote chess: 80k
- Your final rating = Original rating + Change
(Example: If you (Rating: 750) lost to a player (Rating: 100) (normal game) and Opponent rating - Your rating (=-650) < -500, then your rating change: -5.0 x 10 = -50 (-500 belongs to first row of table); Opponent’s rating change: 5.0 x 10 = +50 (500 belongs to last row of table)
So final ratings: You: 750-50=700; Opponent: 100+50=150)
Quiz: Your Rating: 1500; Opponent Rating: 1250
