right now the Legion is small in numbers - my plan is for the Legion to eventually be an effective force in Chess.com - to where we are dominating in Vote chess and Team Matches.  Once we have established a larger mass in members and a community within the team - we shall hence forth and make our presence known.

I'm new to Internet chess can someone with OTB experience and Internet experience give me some advice. I have some questions like.... 1. I don't like speed chess but everybody plays slower then me. Note: I will not play a rated game less then 30 mins. But here in cyber world, Whats the deal? I think they are getting computer help in difficult positions , am I right?..... I know postal rules apply. Therefore, How much data or books can you use on a game? or better where do you find good data on the web that you are aloud to use toward a game or match play. 3. Dose everybody cheat? your opinion only? I don't want to here any stories right now about "the people who are cheating." ...4. I'm only playing Internet chess to sharping my skills for OTB games and work on openings. To me thats true chess OTB not this. I would call Internet Chess "Help Chess" you get it when you need it, that is. If this is a forum topic. tell me and I'll take it off and write one.

@Edwinredo: it's true, you find cheaters here, but if you avoid people with very high ratings or very high win rate you won't stumble upon a programme often :)

Cisla

Our best way of becoming a force in chess is to be recognised as strong, serious players who are determined and win matches. There's unfortunately no chortcut, mates.

Another good thing to my mind is encourage and support weaker players.

Remember: knights of old used to look after the weak and those that needed defence. Let's do that !"

I am with the Legionnaire all the way!
