He was a fantastic artist I have a copy of the Mona Lisa in oils that we bought years ago. Not to scale our copy is larger than the original.I love art.

Thanks Martha,

I am hooked on adult colouring in books at the moment the patterns are so intricate. I used to paint a little going back a few years ago.Just simple things in water colours.

Nice.!  My Mother was a water color artist...she did beautiful scenery, an one time she did a huge plane flying over head in a rain storm...I went crazy for it.!

I see the grown up coloring books in "Micheal's" my favorite art store.  and i have to admit, I'm tempted to get one..they are awesome!..i like the owls and Elephants...etc...oh and the Peacocks.!

But, i am still painting for others...and i don't want to become TOO happy...lol.!

What kind of pictures are you coloring?...Do you use colored pencils?

Yes I use coloured pencils I did start off with felt pens which worked in some because of the vivid colours. I think with the coloured pencils there is more control.

I find it so relaxing.Smile
