Q. What is a stale mate?
A. A stale mate is when a side has NO legal moves at ALL. Thus it is a draw.
White plays Qf7?? resulting a stale mate, as black has no legal moves.
This is NOT a stale mate because black has the legal move 1... a5
Now try to find the move that stale mates!
