I'm not very good but would love some time to play. I live in Rockland, any chance a group would want to meet somewhere local for some games and drinks?

There are some good breweries around that would make a great location?

Article 15 comes to mind in Rockland.

Any takers?

I could be interested, I'm in south Weymouth article 15, BHZ, Vitamin Sea could be good places to try to organize a meet up. Would be cool If we could get a few more people for some blitz/rapid games. Unfortunately I have almost no experience playing otb but would like to get a few games in.

I'm in Hanover (not that good - about 600 ELO). I would like to play some games on the board. Drinks and meeting friends with chess is what I need.

I am in Hanover and would be up for some local OTB. Also Quincy/Weymouth people, there will be a chess club for adults starting the Wednesday after new years, at 6:30 at the church across the street from the Crane Library.

Slug where can I find more info about that group?

If you're on Facebook, you can search for "The South Shore Chess Club", or Michael Yezukevich, who runs it. Starts tonight a 6:30, Bethany Cong. Church, Spear Street in Quincy.
