In order to be the best, we must first beat the best! I am a firm believer in challenging people better then you because it forces you to perform your best. I also think, worst case scenario, you can learn from a loss. That being said, there is no down side to playing someone that is higher. We have a Challenge against "The Power of Chess" who are rated #1. There is no one higher. I say we bring them down a peg and have fun doing it too.
