Since it's all top players, I would assume that they are all old players familiar with both the old standard and omatamix, so it should balance out : P
On the topic of lower rated players, it seems like it doesn't take a long time to figure out new strategies; after all, it is easy to defend against the possible mates and then castle, after which you should hopefully be safe from most attacks.

Great, in any case progress is being made on the right track, the dream of having an FFA league. If it is in OG or BY, in both I will compete!

Come on friend, things are soon to be resolved, cheer up. We have all had a hard time with all these changes, but the light of the optimal solution for everyone and for 4PC is already beginning to be seen.

Nice @ChessMasterGS , yes, it looks like an excellent initiative, I hope it comes to fruition soon. That would help bring back the important base of Elite players. It would also increase the transmissions for 4PC in Twitch, We need this type of action, apart from that they already have some important support from viewers.

the statistics will be an excellent solution in the future and will make you know in an optimal way, what you should improve in your game, day by day.

An FFA league really sounds like something very attractive. I immediately imagined being able to enjoy a semi-annual season (6 months) of competition.

Apparently it would be in the OG Setup (old Standard), and really, I would be willing to participate and compete again against lovers of this OG setup.
Recently an attempt was made to hold the ARENA BYG Setup event. which was not successful or audience, simply people were not interested in knowing this Setup in particular. Before we discuss what kind of setup we should use, I'd like to mention player stats.
STATISTICS
As many of you know, I already started with this topic some time ago, where I talk about the best 100 players in the world.

I mean, this initial listing was just a first step. This list requires a lot of refinement, since there are criteria that cannot be measured mathematically, such as TEMPER, although it is true that it is a criterion that exists in magnitude in chess for 4 and cannot be ignored, but this is a very relative, that volatility will also depend on the emotional and psychological state of the player.
All great players know that in order to win, they must maintain a suitable or optimal level of balance in the 3-player stage, which is more complex than the 4-player stage. But my experience also indicates that: The Balance criteria are very different in most high level players and it is because they calculate different things than an average player, the result will still be very relative, due to the aforementioned factors.
PROPOSAL
My proposal to the administration and developers of 4PC and variants
It would be great to have an exclusive section of player statistics in 4PC, in the same way that it can be obtained in 2PC, in the following way:
A short time ago, chess'com released this update (2PC) which reads:
"chess keys"
- Receive analytics based on your match history.
- See personal strengths/weaknesses.
- See your performance trends.
The first graph seemed very interesting to me. This indicates my number of wins, draw, and losses in a year, and also indicates the number of games in Blitz.
I have the impression that these statistics, we can also obtain them in 4PC. Personally I would like to know specifically, the following:
- How many times did I get first place?
- How many times did I get second and third place?
- How many times did I get fourth place?
- How many times, won or lost with red, yellow, blue and green?
, but I am very excited that in the future we can have these tools. 
It is true that in the files section some data can be found, but it still lacks useful information. The ideal is to be able to count on visible information in an optimal and friendly way. This data would reveal an important fact about each one of us, and it would also be a contribution for the mathematical evaluation of player performance.
But without a doubt, the Tactics graphics are the best, because it helps us obtain valuable data on our level and in this way we could obtain the real data, who are the best players in the world in 4PC.
Now I wonder why this is not yet implemented in 4PC?
I consider myself a highly competitive player and I always study my rivals. Mainly I analyze my own mistakes and study interesting lines of application, I like to learn new theories from the best. I believe that by applying this, I have managed to grow a little more in FFA.
SETUP
I like this Setup (BYG), but I want to give you my impression in practical terms, since I played it and explored it, I'll give you my reasons about Bsrti (BY):
- I am very used to starting with white pieces, with the king on the right and the queen on the left in 2pc. If I compare it with 4pc, red and blue start in the same way in Bsrti and that gives me a kind of closeness, or is more familiar, therefore I consider it more logical from a first impression.
- When you are red and you have the yellow ones in front of you, the same visual effect and concordance in similarity to the 2pc is also achieved
- Anyway Bsrti offers you a wider range of openings, which would be interesting to apply and explore in depth, it doesn't feel so static or sometimes forced in some initial moves, as it happens in omatamix.
In all my assessments I try to always be super objective and consistent, we already gave old standard a chance, also omatamix, but without a doubt, Bsrti impacted me from the first day I met him and there is an audience that votes for the format .
Analyze this also what I want to add to the argument:
- Is that on move 1, red can directly attack the weak king pawn of blue; but with the difference, that blue, can immediately respond to red's attacks.
- Gives the feeling of being able to make multiple openings.
- Compared to the other setups, it doesn't feel forced, to make openings in terms of defense, I feel like you can open yourself up to more than one option.
- As for the initial aesthetics, it gives you an identical view to classic chess; And this is an important achievement, which I highlight in magnitude.
- Playing it immediately gives you that feeling of excitement.
- Blue against green also achieves the same impression in similarity, that gives me greater expected achievement.
Bsrti (BY), It is for me the best alternative.
I really feel like we should explore it, it will be new for everyone, and I'm sure it will be exciting to play.

In my way of understanding FFA, which is my passion, I consider from the first day I met this Bsrti BY setup, which is the best version we can have for FFA, highly incredible and exciting. Balanced and fair for all colors, multiple variants can be executed, for me it fulfills a whole.
I insist, it deserves to be explored.

BY deserve to be explored in the next Tournaments by everyone, before a final decision.

Many of the other problems are already practically solved, for example what was the change of server, and disconnections. We are at the door of a very friendly version of navigation and there is a very minimal percentage of disconnections.
Without a doubt, managing to satisfy everyone is a complex task, but not impossible, the important thing is always to listen to each other and respect each other. You have my support to start an FFA Tournament or League in relation to the problems that we are about to define, which are the rating system and the official standard setup.
