After coming out strong in the first quarter, the Rockets fizzled under the Laker renewed energy. Right now its a blow out all Lakers with the 4rth quarter to go.

Well for one... the title of this post should change..lol. Anything can happen now. Game 7. I love it in MLB and the same for the NBA.

Dont EVEN talk about that Laker "D". What D? Yea... they will win game 7 in LA... but Denver is going to be a real problem.

The Nuggets are the most dangerous offensive team in the NBA.  They also have a very good defense which changes to the pace of the opposition.  If they are playing a run-and-gun Western Conference team, they will try to win in a quick blitzfull shootout.  But if the Nuggets make it against, say the Cavaliers, there game will slow down. But, who does that benefit more? I say Denver.

One problem with Denver is their coach.  Unless he has gotten a lot better he never does good in the playoffs.  I remember when he had a great Seatlle team and they got put out early just about every year, even though they were a top seed and favored.  His team must be playing the good D on their own as Karl has never stressed D with any of his teams before.

Not you Karl, but George Karl, the Nuggets coach is the best coach the Nuggets have had in a long time.  True, the Nuggets are a fast break team that runs the opponents off the court and tries to tire out teams, but the difference this year, is that if they play a team like the Cavs, or Spurs defense, the Nuggets aren't baffled with half court offense.  Last year they won by scoring 120 pts a night, giving up 110, but they have been extremely solidified by Chauncey Billups as a player and leader.  (Not to mention home grown)

I wouldn't doubt that the Nuggets play Houston, but I think Denver matches up better against the Rockets, not LA. I am cheering for the Rockets tommorow.
