Hans would love to. If he had a bit of help with zoom he would be wonderful. He does it in person usually.

I had a couple of questions about chess coaches and online chess lessons, and so I sent out a query to parents and other contacts. The information I received is below:

Jay Warren of Thunder Chess Academy is doing online classes via Zoom, and two ChessKid tournaments per week for his team. He can also do one-on-one training to bring a new student up to speed before merging them into a group. He is available and open to new students. https://thunderchessacademy.com/

Bryan Fleischman teaches chess online and is happy to help any beginner. bryan.fleischman99@gmail.com

A couple of Symmes parents reported that Raj Honmurgi teaches online. Email is raj.honmurgi@gmail.com, phone is (804) 928-5834.

Justin Storn (local teenage National Master) recommends mychesstutor.com for online lessons and reports they are very good for online lessons.

Justin himself teaches higher-rated players above 1400 and charges $30 an hour. Email is jtstorn@gmail.com
