Looking for c4 line

Hi,

I am looking for a c4 line that will improve my winning chances. I read c4 english books that shows attack on queenside. I feel most of my games that give me a win is when i attack on king side.

My challenges are I cannot get a win versus those high rated player than me. I am hoping If i will concentrate on 1 c4 line it will give me more experience and understanding and will hopefully improve my winning chances.

what c4/english line you recommend?

most of my opponent in the club that i play may study very little opening. i was also hoping it will give me an advantage if i have a book line that i will focus on and will give me an advantage against non prepared opponent.

Thank you very much and more power to chess.com.

Hi Wahidz.  I don't know any particular lines that would give you a good attacking position, but I know a general setup.  You can avoid a double fianchetto position, and play with a setup like this:  I hope this helps.

Thank you very much for all your reply. I forgot to mention that almost all of my c4 games are g3/Bg2 system.

This is usually my setup, from here i am looking for a line where i'm hoping to get an advantage. Below are few of my games:

I adopted g3/Bg2 setup as I'm a sicilian dragon player. I feel very familiar with the position and also save hours of study.

Is there an english line using (g3/bg2 system) that will give me better chances against stronger player?

@achja, your setup is very different from the books i've read. I maybe reading an outdated c4/english books :(.

I like the feel of c4/english as its positional and i dont give away a target for my opponent. The book says it usually give the opponent a slow squeze. but on my recent games as my pawns goes up my opponent where able to enter the cracks and penetrate my position.
