Lost Notation book at nationals

I lost a notation book at nationals. Some one from us chess said they found it and will contact us later, but they never did.

Is my book lost forever or somewhere at us chess HQ?, and if it is at uschess hq, will i be able to get it back

Your best resource at finding the notebook is the director of that tournament. Also try contacting the manager of the hotel or convention center where the tournament was held. A location large enough for a national chess tournament probably has a specific person or department with one of their duties being to help people recover lost property if it is still on location. Less likely but worth a try is to contact the players you had games with.

I played at highschool nationals this past year in Washington dc, which may be what he is talking about. there are different brackets you can go into, including an unrated one. He was probably in the u800 or unrated bracket. i was in the U1200, one or two brackets above it, but it goes all the way up to open brackets. that happened back in march though so he probably isn't talking about that one
