Why does everyone always say Fortnite and Among Us are dead? Just because something is less popular now than when it was literally the most popular game in the world doesn't mean it's dead. I don't play either but come on, have some sense.

Not played by the general public =/= dead. If the sites I looked up are to believed, there are at least a million people playing Fortnite right now. Among Us has over 10,000 players on Steam every day and probably waaaay more on mobile.

It's more of a joke than a game

We need to get some younger people in the voting, like 40ish years old. If we vote older people then they might die in their presidency

Higher education is required for many jobs. People are drowning in student debt. It shouldn't be this way. Everyone should have a chance in this nation. If you want a job in a field, you need some sort of experience in that field. To get the highest quality workers, many companies require higher education. Teachers, Economists, Doctors, engineers, etc.

scholarships?

scholarships aren't for everyone

i would dispute that it is possible given enough effort and skill to guarantee a scholarship, but what do i know, never been to college

Tell me, if you're not smart/hard working enough to get a scholarship to even a small college, are you going to have much luck with a career as a doctor even if you did have the money to pay your way through?

but people who are poor who can't even afford education in elementry, middle, and high school. what is going to happen to them? free college will let those kids as well get an education

Teachers are high quality, right... Doctors I get, economists idk much about. Engineers though? Sure a good professor helps, but how many of them are there? It seems to me like a lot of people just go to college to socialize. As for your point about a degree being important to companies, are you sure about that? What even are the most common degrees anyways?

why is college a business, but lower education is not?

Avatar of snow

mentally disabled people as well. Just because they are not "smart" they should still get to go to college. they might be working hard, but with a disability they might not learn as quick as others

because lower education is essential for basic life, like going to the store

you don't need calculus to figure out if you have enough money for a donut, but you do need arithmetic

by this reasoning, should students be taught history and science? those subjects are not generally used in your everyday life, yet a lack of knowledge in those subjects could deprive one of a job

Degrees show what you know. So yes they are important to companies. That's why it is disgusting to deny anyone an education. Education is not for just the gifted, but anyone who wants it. That's why it should not be a business but free to all.

No, what you can do shows what you know. Business majors and social studies/history degrees were the 1st and 3rd most popular choices respectively in 2016-2017. No offense to anybody who's studying either of those, but what do they show? Yet they made up roughly 25% of the bachelor's degrees given.
