ImAnEasyWin

He's being sarcastic

The grinding is real. He probably need 25+ wins for each loss he takes.

EnvoyofChaos

Here he is losing 70 points in one game to a 1640 https://www.chess.com/variants/giveaway/game/22443295/45/1

Would probably need a lot more than 25 wins for each loss at this rate

Honestly this is very strange to me. I played him yesterday and won with an incredible comeback victory if I may say so myself: https://www.chess.com/variants/giveaway/game/22485512/0/1

I just considered this a huge fluke or that he was just half playing while doing something else, didn't think too much of it.

But seeing that he regularly loses to others around 1600 makes me seriously wonder how it's possible?

Even when I was at my best around 1800 I would ALWAYS lose to other players around 2000+. Maybe I'd get one win in 20 against those guys. Seeing a 2300+ often losing to 1600s doesn't seem reasonable to me.

Either he's extremely good but sandbagging in order to keep his rank from getting too high (for some reason). OR, maybe more likely, he got his rank by cheating, and sometimes plays legit which is when we see these games.

Hate to make accusations but it just doesn't add up. In my mind a true 2300 should beat a 1600 a million times out of a million. Let alone a 1300.

I'm not skilled enough to spot if he makes beginner mistakes that would reveal him not really being 2300? But the fact that he doesn't resign rook v king is sus even to me. Everyone who played three games knows thats lost.

It's because he literally only plays beginners. He didn't even start on chess.com either; It's evident looking at his first games here, but because he hates losing so bad he has actually gotten worse.

Hmm, but how is that possible? When you make a ranked challenge you need to include your own rank. And even if you win against one of those the rank gained would probably be something like +0.1

So you mean he just waits around for open challenges from ~1500s to gain 0.1 per win, all the way to 2300 lol? But since he regularly loses to and thats -70 it's hard for me to get the math to add upp still.

How do you see someones old games in antichess? Klicking their profile I only see regular chess games.

Eccentricitycity

on the variants server theres a achieve tab. Thats where you can see old games.

desiLoveschess

He rarely played with me....i thought he doesn't play with players too low in rank..
