Mark's Yusupov Intermediate Study Plan

Hi folks. Just starting my journey in the study plan. I've been playing more seriously for the past couple years. Hit a bit of a road block with learning. I feel I'm probably around 1500-1700. Depends on the day. I can get to 2200 tactical rating on puzzles and then the next day drop 200 points. I can do 39 puzzle rush survival one day and then some days struggle to get 20-25 My one pitfall is I do not play regular rapid or blitz. So I'm hoping things can change with a good plan.

I hope your studies go well. I am not as good as you are (~mid 800 blitz and ~mid 1100 rapid) and *really* struggle with Blitz, but I just finished my 4th week of Blitz (8th study plan week)and am doing much better. I think that the individual game analysis, followed by a daily summary prioritizing of what the main play weaknesses are for that day, and finally, an overall summary for the week's play has helped me a lot. I am playing better blitz and making regular progress week by week. I am using the beginner plan and am very happy with my learning, something that has been frustrating for the last few years. The writing out of the summaries seems to be key - it helps me refine and clarify my summary thoughts and provides a record that I can go back and look at.

Weekly update: Enjoying the schedule. It has at least gotten me more active playing games. I was already ahead in the Yusopov book prior and I'm on chapter 20. I did not do well in this chapter. Weak Squares. Definitely not as strong in the positions where you need to exploit a weakness or make some positional improvement.
