Matchmaking based on rating selection?

Is anyone else experiencing issues with the rating selection not doing it's job?

i.e. Restricting to only players greater than 1400 still matches with two opponents below 1200?

Should this not be more even so that all players are in a 1400 range?

Would be interesting to get other people's thoughts on how they're finding it.

Yeah, I always put +1500 but several times I get a couple of 1200s or 1300s.

It does not work now. Period.

Glad to hear it's not me - this is hopefully at the top of the priority list as it's a fairly fundamental error to make.

I usually get paired with some one about my rating.
