matchmaking in a nutshell

look at the player ratings in the following teams game:

notice that the rating differences between teams is big? because my team's highest rated (me) is 1567, while opponent team's lowest rated (yellow) is 2092, a 525 point difference! (calculator might have been used) Anyways, in my opinion this is just bad matchmaking rng luck, and this problem is probably rare enough to ignore. Do any of you have opinions on this?

There is no algorithm or rng here: if you join a queue with a 2000 in it, you will play a 2000.

BUT the rng does defines the player colors in a match, not the players that are in it. like you have a 1500 and a 2000, if one of them is black and if one of them is white, but who is black and who is white? thats when rng comes in. (unless it is a rematch)And since this is teams, opposites are teammates, and the 2000s got to be oppposites/teammates

ok then, just one question, does it work on test servers? the regular ones were in repair when the match started, and i did not find the invite button (probably my lack of attention to stuff).
