This is a competition to see which of these 16 mates are rarer. We have;-

Pawn mate

Knight Mate
Bishop mate

Rook mate
Queen mate
King mate (excluding castles mate)
0-0/0-0-0 mate
En passant mate
Double checkmate
Discovered checkmate
Smothered matePawn takes piece = queen mate
pawn/ pawn takes piece = underpromotion mate
knight to the corner mate
mate with opposing king on d4, e4, e5 or d5
pawn takes piece double checkmate

Today we have Bishop mate vs pawn mate

I had a promotion to a queen mate

2 pawn can checkmate

Where is smothered mate? Maybe change it instead of pawn promotes to queen, because there are 2 of them.

the score is officially 26-10 to pawns so further votes will not be counted

the next round is rook vs knight mates

yes there are some obvious ones but can you think of anything to replace it with?
