Hello everyone,

I am a 900+ rated player in blitz. Few days ago I defeated a 1700+ rated & 1389 FIDE rated chess player. 

White- @Sadman-Bin-Bahar

Black- @ananthramdas

 

@Coach-Bill help me to figure out my (white) mistakes in this game.

Your 6th move was unnecessary, trying to win on a trick which cost you two tempos and soon a shattered pawn structure. you are theoretically losing here. your opponent broke too early in the center eliminating your weak doubled pawns and leaving him with an isolated Queen pawn. you can't count on this generosity. you then exploited the open position nicely.

 

The purpose of this topic is for members to help members, get your whole club involved. this will make your club active and improve their play. I can't be here often, everyone needs to be in here, helping.
