My memories of Roker Park.... I went there once to see David Bowie in concert, for his Glass Spider tour and after waiting ages to see him live, he came onto the stage, opened his arms wide and shouted in the microphone......

Wasn't the 6-0 West Ham game after a 1-0 win over Bristol City, a 4-0 win against Boro and a 6-1 win over West Brom, all in successive games. Won 8 and drew 3 of our last 11 home games and got relegated - thanks to Jimmy Hill. 1977.
