I'd like to learn/train 1.e4 e5 2.d4 opening, like here:

I don't really know this one and it caught me by surprise so i had to improvise (which led me to a very hairy situation and i was lucky my opoonent made so many obvious mistakes).

Also i feel that my king+(random number of pawns) vs king+(random number of pawns) endings are veryyy shaky.

P.S. I have no idea what mentoring program is, but I guess it's something with more experienced players tutoring thel ess experienced ones? Can someone tell me more on the subject?

P.S.S. Learning more openings than my ussual King's/Queen's gambit sounds good too ;)

2...f6 was a huge mistake, d6 is much better for example what if your opponent had played 3. de, if you take back you will get under serious presssure by Qe5+ otherwise your are one pawn behind from the beginning, also not good...your opponent played this one to lame in the beginning and to aggressive in the end, your defense was good except for 22. Bd7, which should have resulted in a Bishop loss and a material eveness of both of you which is in such a situation not good at all.

instead of d6 its even better to simply take 2. ...ed, 3. Qxe4 Kc6

If we are speaking of mistakes within the game, my defence had alot of flaws. I offered  exchanges, where I would loose more instead of actually exchanging (for example 21. Rd8 or 35.Rd5). Also 24. Qa5 was a huge blunder which he (thankfully) didn't notice (He would have taken my queen with Bb4+)

I am up for any practice games/ mentoring. Im from the southern united states where hardly anyone knows the game. So any help would be greatly appreciated :)
