 Here's a list of mentors that proteges can match up with, if you would like to be added/removed from this list please let me know.

 If you are looking for a protege than please look at the protege list on the next post.

Sorry for the confusion... I had said that I'd love to have a mentor.

I would be happy to match with a mentor - not sure how to do it.  

i can be a mentor to anyone below 1200, i can take higher people, but i may not be able to offer as much

Forgive my ignorance. But what exactly is expected of a mentor here? Is he essentually a coach or someone a lower player can look upto? or both? what?

    If your interested in mentoring (coaching) someone, you can choose the range that you feel you will be of benefit to a protoge. In the list above you will notice that some mentors have set their rating limits for their would be protegees.   

     Eg. <1400 only, meaning that, that mentor will only be of value or willing to coach someone in that range.

I'm a USCF Class A tournament player. My rating here usually bounces between 1950 and 2100. I'm willing to play unrated training games against any and all that request (until I have six such games going). I'm an active chess coach in my town.

I can offer to mentor anyone below 1500, but just one or two people. I'm busy enough as it is.
