Minecraft Building blocks

What set of building blocks do you typically use for your house theme? I like 3 sets:

1) Quartz, birch planks, smooth stone

2) Oak logs, oak planks

3) Spruce logs, Spruce planks, Cobblestone

it depends on how im feeling

survival or creative

creative mode

For comfy house: Wood planks, wood, carpet, wooden stairs, wooden fences.

For modern house: plants, iron, glass, redstone contraptions, obsidian, etc.

That's not what I mean by that i mean the color or texture theme of a certain block, so don't just say planks or wood because there are different color types

Also, a tip for modern house is to use quartz don't use iron cuz it has that grid pattern that looks horrible
